Conferences
Middle East Economic Association organizes two conferences annually: 1) the MEEA Annual Meeting which is also part of Allied Social Sciences Association (ASSA) Annual Meeting in early January each year (held in a major city in the US) and 2) the MEEA International conference in spring of each year (held in or near the Middle East and North Africa region).
In addition, MEEA actively participates in Western Economic Association International (WEAI) Conference every year.
20th Intl. MEEA Conference
The 20th International Conference of MEEA will be held at Istanbul Topkapi University on the 13th and 14th of September 2024. To access the call for abstracts and further information, please click here.
99th WEAI Conference
MEEA actively participates in the 99th WEAI Conference on June 29 through July 3rd, 2024 in Seattle, Washington, USA. Please submit the abstract of your paper by email to Professors Shawkat Hammoudeh, Nathalie Hilmi, and Jeffery B. Nugent. The call for abstracts is here.
You need to be a member of WEAI and pay their registration fee to participate in this conference. They usually amount to about $195 to $275. To have more information, please check their website.
